Many moons ago Books and I used to run a night called Foundation in Manchester. We had loads of brilliant guests and a mix series to boot.

When I heard he was working on an album, I was hyped. When I finally got to listen to it I was more than impressed, both in technique and the soundscapes he’s created.

Though we’re both a long way from the tear out sessions in the RedRum cellar, I was overjoyed when I heard he was having a tour and humbled when he asked me to play at the session in Eastern Bloc

I put this mix together to showcase most of the album with a couple of classics and some cuts from the Discipline camp weaved in for good measure,
